An Empirical Analysis of the Influencing Factors of Carbon Emissions in China

Abstract

China plays an important role in climate governance and reaching the carbon neutrality in the world. The paper stated the energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission of China. Following that, the paper analyzed the influencing factors of carbon emissions in China by using LMDI model. In the end, the paper this paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions, which include promoting the synergistic upgrading of industrial structure, optimizing the energy consumption structure, and practicing the low-carbon concept.
