Investigation of the pharmacological effects and analytical methods of Meclofenoxate and its metabolites

Abstract

This article provides a review and outlook on the current status and development of AICAR in the fields of medicine and anti-doping.Meclofenoxate, as a central stimulant derived from phenoxyacetic acid ester, can enhance the activity of inhibited nervous system and modulate the metabolism of nerve cells. Its misuse among athletes places it on the international list of banned stimulants, posing a significant threat to the health of athletes and the integrity of sports. Hence, this paper summarizes the current research status on the pharmacological effects and analytical methods of meclofenoxate, aiming to serve as a reference for future research on this compound.
