Abstract

The trend of changes in proppant concentration and fracture conductivity is essentially identical. When combined with an analysis of the average conductivity of effectively propped fractures at different locations, it becomes evident that the proppant distribution pattern becomes uneven after pulse injection. However, this pattern displays a discontinuous distribution law on the macro level. Influenced by the proppant distribution pattern, fracture conductivity exhibits significant variation at different locations. During the conventional injection process, the conductivity of fractures near the wellbore gradually decreases from proximity to distance. Conversely, the proppant phase distribution during pulse injection induces fluctuation in fracture conductivity, transitioning from proximity to distance.
