Abstract

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a gas that contributes to the greenhouse effect, and the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has increased by about 50% since the Industrial Revolution. The signs of global warming are everywhere, and solving this problem requires analyzing the trend of CO2 concentration and its impact on global temperature. This report will establish mathematical models to verify the accuracy of CO2 concentration and analyze the feasibility of new models. At the same time, two models will be constructed to explore the relationship between global temperature and atmospheric CO2 concentration and predict future trends. The results showed that the trend of carbon dioxide concentration is constantly increasing, whereas the trend of land-ocean temperature appears to be periodic. Pearson correlation analysis found that carbon dioxide was linearly correlated with temperature height, and linear regression further visualized this relationship. The forecast data show that carbon reduction needs to be taken seriously, or the consequences are serious, and both individuals and governments should take measures.
