This article uses panel data from various cities in China from 2008 to 2019 from the Guotai An database and CNRDS database to explore the impact of local government fiscal pressure on the level of green innovation in cities. The results indicate that local government financial pressure has a restraining effect on the level of urban green innovation, and further horizontal competition between local governments will exacerbate this restraining effect. Meanwhile, the impact of local fiscal pressure on urban green innovation level is heterogeneous. In prefecture level cities and cities with lower innovation preferences, local government fiscal pressure significantly suppresses urban green innovation level, while in sub provincial cities and cities with higher innovation preferences, this impact is not significant. Therefore, from the perspective of the reform of the fiscal transmission system between the central government, local governments, and enterprises, insights are provided to promote the level of urban green innovation.
Zihang Chen Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2731 Wed, 23 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Study on the Influence of Green Credit on the Optimization of Industrial Structure ——Empirical Analysis Based on the Pearl River Delta region https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2732
Green credit will have a significant impact on the optimization of the industrial structure under the "double carbon" target. Based on panel data of 21 commercial banks of different sizes from 2011 to 2023, this article employs the individual fixed effects model to empirically analyze the impact of green credit on the operating performance of commercial banks. The empirical results show that green credit business has a significant positive effect on the operating performance of commercial banks. State-owned banks, due to their abundant resources and policy support, exhibit a more significant positive effect in the field of green credit. Large-scale banks have more advantages compared to small-scale banks in the field of green credit. This paper suggests that commercial banks should increase the promotion of green credit, state-owned banks should play a leading role, and the abilities of small and medium-sized banks in green credit should be enhanced. At the same time, the government and regulatory authorities should improve the green credit policy system and promote innovation in green financial products and services to promote the sustainable development of commercial banks and the growth of the green financial market.
Yiyang Yan Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2736 Thu, 24 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The Growth Flywheel of Content Community in B2B Industry: Digital Marketing Strategy and Practice of Lingyishuke https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2737
As a leading B2B enterprise in China, Lingyishuke has demonstrated excellent practices and strategies in the field of digital marketing. Based on the annual report data of 35 listed companies in China in the past five years, this paper analyzes the influence of debt level, ownership structure, company size, profitability and growth on company value by using multiple linear regression model. It is found that there is a significant nonlinear relationship between debt level and company value. Moderate debt financing can enhance company value, but excessive debt level will reduce company value. The concentration of equity has a positive impact on the company value, which shows that the concentration of equity is helpful to improve the efficiency of corporate governance and the speed of decision-making. In addition, company size, profitability and growth also have a significant positive impact on company value. The question, “Should I be responsible for what I believe?” is related to the core of two philosophy theories: free will and determinism. This theoretical discussion profoundly affects the judgment criteria of law, morality, and personal behavior. In order to better analyze this problem, this paper discusses each of the four cases and argues that there will be different answers to this question in different cases. There has been a decrease in population growth rates in both developed and developing countries in recent years. Scholars have worked hard to calculate the optimal proportion of the global population, but the results vary widely among different scholars. This paper examines the global optimal population using a Lagrange Multiplier Optimization model based on the Solow exogenous growth model and utility maximization theory. Finally, the results showed that as opportunity costs of using capital and consumption prices decrease, marginal costs of living increase, thereby limiting population growth. When exogenous resources and autonomous growth factors increase, marginal benefits increase, thereby stimulating population growth. This essay aims to provide new perspectives for estimating the global population using the Lagrange Multiplier method and to determine the factors that affect population change. It is shown in this paper that, in the long run, society tends to have a rate of zero population growth until the improvements in technology and production exceed the carrying capacity of the environment.
Xiya Ai Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2751 Thu, 24 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The Dual Nature of Successful Business Activities: A Critical Analysis Based on Utilitarianism and Altruism https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2752
Contemporary economic development research shows that the activities of successful business people have both positive effects on individuals and society, such as creating jobs, promoting economic growth and engaging in philanthropy, and adverse effects, such as moral dilemmas and excessive consumption of resources. This paper uses Bentham's concepts of utilitarianism and altruism to analyze this phenomenon. Utilitarianism emphasizes profit maximization and believes that business people tend to give priority to their interests. Altruism, on the other hand, puts the welfare of others first. This paper points out that although successful entrepreneurs may engage in seemingly altruistic behaviours, there are often more self-interested motives behind these behaviours. Business people may benefit third parties through activities such as education, employment, and environmental protection. Still, the ultimate principle of these actions is usually to maximize personal or corporate interests rather than purely social welfare. Thus, the view that businesspeople will put society first when using resources may overlook the contradiction between individual gain and unintended but positive effects on others.
Yulin Jin Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2752 Thu, 24 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Successful Business people May benefit others https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2755
With the widening gap between the rich and the poor, more successful business people have gained huge wealth. Carrying capacity and optimal population theory is crucial in understanding the relationship between population size and available resources. As illustrated in ecological economics, the theoretical concept of carrying capacity is that there is a maximum population size that the environment can sustain without degradation forever. On the other hand, optimum population theory posits that an optimum population size maximizes per capita income and welfare by striking a balance between the benefits of a larger workforce and market size against the costs of overpopulation. This article delves into the definition and influencing factors of the optimal global population, emphasizing the key roles of economic stability, resource allocation, and social welfare in defining the optimal population through multidimensional analysis of labor dynamics, population changes, technological development, and social security systems in China and India. At the same time, this article points out the limitations of existing research and proposes suggestions for future research and policy-making.
Junyui Tan Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2760 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Global population growth and sustainability of the Economic Environment: The search for optimal population size https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2761
The substantial population growth in recent years has stimulated economic expansion and technological innovation and provided opportunities for labour force increase and market expansion, generating a "demographic dividend", but at the same time, it has put a burden on ecological resources, which is not conducive to sustainable development. This paper argues that there is an optimal global population that can provide enough labour and market size to drive sustained economic growth while ensuring the well-being of future generations. Specifically, this paper determines the optimal population by comparing the marginal benefit (MB) and marginal cost (MC) generated by the additional population. It explores the virtuous cycle between population growth and economic development. The results show that better resource management and ecological protection measures are needed to ensure sustained economic growth and optimal population size and achieve long-term sustainable development.
Zinuo Zhang Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2761 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Factors affecting the optimal global population https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2762
The world population soared dramatically in the contemporary era, reaching approximately 8 billion in 2024. Some researchers believe that successful business people often expend huge resources on personal consumption, and their existence is not conducive to the development of society. However, some researchers believe that the existence of successful business people can greatly promote the development of social productivity, and the benefits of their efforts in industry development generally outweigh the potential drawbacks. Therefore, in order to better distinguish this issue, this article critically analyzes the impact of successful business people's consumption and earnings on society based on the theory of positive and negative externalities. From a positive perspective, business people invest in the education of their employees, which can enhance their abilities, improve their mental health and overall quality, and ultimately reduce crime rates. Moreover, education can promote cultural diversity and then contribute to society's innovative progress. Furthermore, successful business people's investment in medical fields and healthcare benefits individuals' physical and mental well-being. However, the investments of these businessmen also demonstrate noteworthy negative impacts on others and society. Based on the calculation of land use carbon intensity of 284 cities at or above the prefecture level in China from 2006 to 2021, this paper uses exploratory spatio-temporal data analysis to investigate the spatio-temporal evolution of urban carbon intensity in China, and introduces a multi-scale geographical weighted regression model to explore the spatial heterogeneity of its driving factors. The results showed that: (1) the carbon emission intensity of cities in China and the three regions showed a decreasing trend over time, and the spatial and temporal distribution of cities had a strong spatial positive correlation. (2) In terms of local spatial structure and dependence of carbon emission intensity, the volatility of cities in central and western regions is higher, while cities in eastern regions are relatively more stable; In the spatial pattern, there are some characteristics of transfer inertia and locking. (3) The main driving factors of carbon reduction effect at different spatial and temporal scales are different, and there is a certain spatial heterogeneity. This study comprehensively discussed the temporal and spatial transition, convergence trend and driving factors of urban land carbon emission intensity in China, attempting to provide a reference for differentiated emission reduction strategies for cities, which is of great significance for the transformation of cities from "dual control of energy consumption" to "dual control of carbon emission" and the green transformation of economic and social structure.
Peijie Liu Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2772 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Enterprise digital transformation and green technology innovation——Based on the data analysis of China's A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2023 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2773
Based on the data of China's A-share listed enterprises in 2010- -2023, this study empirically analyzes the impact of the digital transformation of enterprises on green and sustainable innovation. Carrying out career anchor assessments effectively and conducting career education for high school students based on the career anchor theory is not only beneficial for the career positioning and choices of high school students, but also helpful in the effective implementation of career education work. In recent years, the issue of high school students' employment has become a focus of social concern, making it increasingly difficult to find a suitable career truly. Therefore, in guiding on student employment, more emphasis should be placed on educating high school students on career values. Helping high school students find the right career, positioning their career anchors well, and establishing a scientific career outlook is key. The career anchor theory proposed by the renowned American career guidance expert Edgar H. Schein provides theoretical guidance for the career positioning and choices of high school students. Therefore, this study uses Schein's career anchor theory as the research perspective and main theoretical support, selecting high school students as the research subjects, and applying the career anchor theory to the study of high school students' career values through empirical analysis. This paper adopts a research model combining "point" and "surface". The basic analysis of the contemporary high school student’s career outlook belongs to the "surface" category of universal discussion. Based on this, a survey was conducted on the career values of high school students in Chongqing through questionnaire surveys, and the career anchors of high school students were tested, which belongs to the "point" category of particular analysis. The study indicates that high school student’s career choices overall exhibit ambiguity in career direction and oscillation, highlighting the urgent need for guidance on career anchors focusing on career positioning. Therefore, this paper proposes to identify career anchors among high school students, determine career anchor types using career anchor assessment methods, utilize the career anchor theory to establish an adaptable career outlook, and hopes that the career anchor theory can play a positive role in the career education of high school students and help them establish a scientific career outlook.
Chunke Wu Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2774 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Reach the world and benefit the world at the same time -- based on the business people's trickle-down theory https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2775
This paper uses economic models and trickle-down theory to show that successful business people benefit others when they make and spend money. It is manifested in four aspects: 1. Businessmen promote material production and the economic cycle. On the one hand, business people provide jobs for workers to obtain labor remuneration; on the other hand, they can produce goods and services that consumers need so that employees can use their wages to buy necessities to meet their needs in life. 2. Tax paid by business people is redistributed to low-income groups through transfer payments and investment in infrastructure construction, which is conducive to improving social welfare and economic growth. 3. Businessmen generate positive externalities by investing in technological innovation to stimulate progress in various fields. 4. Some wealthy people also realize personal value by giving to help others financially. In other words, successful businesspeople benefit others when they make and spend money. It is important to acknowledge that while successful business people help others, there are potential downsides, such as market forces, tax evasion, and consumption of bad goods. Consequently, the study of middle-class fitness motivation has become a subject of academic interest. This paper examines the importance of health concepts in modern society and the current state, motivations, and influencing factors of fitness activities among the Chinese middle class. With the improvement of living standards and changing lifestyle, health has become a fundamental basis for personal happiness and quality of life, and fitness, as an important means to improve and maintain health, has gradually gained favor among the middle class. Middle-class fitness activities exhibit a trend of diversification, individualization, and scientificity. In investigating fitness motivations, this paper finds that the fitness motivations of the Chinese middle class primarily encompass health pursuits, social needs, and self-actualization. They engage in fitness to improve and maintain physical health, expand their social circles, and enhance personal value. Simultaneously, cultural and economic factors collectively shape the fitness motivations of the middle class. The transformation of traditional health concepts and the influence of media and popular culture have prompted them to pay greater attention to fitness, while the increase in income levels and the rise of marketization have provided them with more convenient and efficient fitness services. This paper takes "Nezha" IP as the research object, combines the relevant knowledge of semiotics and value theory, and adopts the research methods of literature analysis, text analysis, and in-depth interview. This paper focuses on the internal law of IP value generation in animated films. Animation IP forms value in the creation stage, and realizes value in the transmission and acceptance of consumption. Take the dynamic process of value generation as the logic of this paper. The first part, starting from the value creation and meaning subject of animated film IP, analyzes the changes on social and cultural context, and finds that its narrative structure moves from binary opposition to intertextuality and pluralism, from grand meaning presupposition to subtle, paying more attention to the present and each individual. Then, it traces the history of Nezha and analyzes Nezha in different periods from the three levels of language, myth with the help of Roland Barthes' semiotics theory, explains the evolution of its role symbols, concludes the core composition of value creation. The second part, from the perspective of audience acceptance, analyzes the "process" and "meaning" of value transmission. Due to the changes of communicated environment, the mode of communication changes from single to multiple and interactive; The main body of communication changes to the national side; The process of audience's meaning interpretation can be divided into the interpretation and re-creation of the text. The third part further discusses the composition and generating elements of value, and summarizes the first two parts. Meaning is formed in the superficial emotional perception, the middle level rational thinking and the deep self-identification of the audience. Therefore, based on the data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) in 2015 and 2018, this paper investigates the influence of urban and rural residents’ basic medical insurance on farmers’ entrepreneurial behaviour by using the method of Difference-in-Differences (DID). It is found that the implementation of basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents has significantly improved the entrepreneurial willingness of rural residents. When the cluster level is set to individual, its entrepreneurial probability has increased by about 4%. When the cluster level is changed to household and community, there is also a significant promotion effect. Secondly, this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of urban and rural residents’ medical insurance on entrepreneurship by using expected utility theory, life cycle theory and precautionary saving theory: urban and rural residents’ medical insurance enhances farmers’ economic security by reducing risk exposure level and medical burden, and then improves their entrepreneurial willingness. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the heterogeneity of different groups and finds that medical insurance for urban and rural residents has a more significant role in promoting entrepreneurship for male, people aged 60 or below, people with good health, people with bachelor’s degrees or below and married people. Based on this, this paper holds that basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents not only reduces the economic risks caused by diseases but also plays an active role in encouraging farmers to start businesses and increase their income, promoting medical equity and improving social welfare. Therefore, relevant departments should continue to implement the policy of merging the two insurances into one, popularize entrepreneurship knowledge, strengthen rural entrepreneurship publicity and help work, so as to give full play to the promoting effect of medical insurance on rural residents’ entrepreneurship and help realize rural revitalization in China.
Shuyu Dong Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2785 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The impact of fiscal education expenditure level on urban-rural income gap https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2786
Social equity has always been a focus of social concern, and fiscal education expenditure can have an impact on social equity. The urban-rural income gap, as an important indicator for testing the rationality of resource allocation, reflects the current situation of social equity well. It is necessary to study the impact mechanism of fiscal education expenditure on the urban-rural income gap. This article selects provincial panel data from 2010 to 2022 and processes the data using STATA16.0 software to explore the impact of fiscal education expenditure on urban-rural income inequality. The results indicate that an increase in government education expenditure will lead to a narrowing of the urban-rural income gap. Artificial intelligence has led a new round of scientific and technological competition and is known as the “fourth industrial revolution”. The rise of generative artificial intelligence technology and the adoption of artificial intelligence to generate technological achievements have triggered a new challenge for trademark recognition. This kind of technology has the unique characteristics of self-learning and self-optimization, which is significantly different from the traditional object of intellectual property protection. However, the current legal framework is often difficult to cover the innovations of such emerging technologies, which leads to many disputes on the determination of trademark rights. In view of the difficulties faced by the identification of trademark rights of technological achievements generated by artificial intelligence, we should improve the relevant provisions of Articles 30 and 31 of the Trademark Law on infringement of the prior rights of others, and introduce professionals to conduct manual audit and expert evaluation. At the same time, we should also define the trademark ownership of artificial intelligence technology achievements and the defining standard of human creative contribution, and introduce “confusion possibility” as the identification standard of trademark infringement.
Ningxun Cai Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2788 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The impact of digital transformation on enterprise inventory management efficiency https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2790
Using data from all non-ST A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2023, this study constructs a digital transformation index via text analysis and examines its impact on inventory management efficiency through regression analysis. Future research on family-owned enterprises should focus more on how to improve corporate performance in the process of digital transformation and innovation, how to improve corporate governance in the context of enterprise internationalization, and measures to solve the problem of second-generation succession in the process of development.
Guanchong Chen Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2813 Mon, 28 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The literature review on Corporate innovation https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2814
Innovation plays a substantial role in value creation and economic development. Given its importance, this paper systematically reviews the determinants and consequences of corporate innovation. This paper finds the factors mainly related to business management and the economic sphere, including strategic management, innovation, competitive environment, intrapreneurship, corporate governance, leadership, industry influences, and cultural factors. The consequences of corporate innovation can be summarised in terms of the company's financial position and risk management, like the risk of a share price crash, more internal financing, and the company staying ahead of the curve. This paper enriches the literature on corporate innovation by systematically summarizing the factors affecting innovative activities. The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the implications that listed firms and the government can consider to promote or facilitate corporate innovation. Firms can foster innovation by investing in R&D, fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation, and collaborating with external partners. The government can promote a culture of innovation that drives progress and growth by offering funding, tax incentives, and regulatory frameworks that incentivize companies to invest in new technologies and ideas. Overall, the paper underscores the importance of innovation in driving economic growth and offers practical recommendations for firms and policymakers to foster innovation and competitiveness.
Jiale Liang Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2814 Mon, 28 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Study On the Influence of Short Video Opinion Leaders on Consumers' Willingness to Buy Beauty Products and Their Coping Strategies https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2816
This paper takes beauty opinion leaders active on TikTok platform as the research object, selects some representative marketing cases of beauty opinion leaders in China and studies the short video content released by them, summarizes the main strategies adopted by them in the process of marketing communication, explores the advantages in depth, and tries to find out the problems. Unlike electronic and virtual currency, digital currency is a nonintermediary payment mechanism based on distributed ledger technology. The rise of digital currency has profoundly impacted the traditional currency system. On the one hand, digital currencies have improved transaction efficiency and payment convenience, reduced transaction costs, and promoted innovation in financial models. On the other hand, digital currencies also bring new risks and challenges, such as information leakage, fund security issues, and impact on traditional financial institutions. In addition, digital currencies may exacerbate global development imbalances, leading to differences in the efficiency of digital currency usage between developed and developing countries. This article further explores the relationship between digital currency and traditional currency, predicts their coexistence or substitution trends in the future, and emphasizes the importance of managing digital currency. China has been pushing forward the "dual-carbon" goal, planning to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. The energy industry is the main battlefield and the main position for practicing the strategy of green and low-carbon development of energy, and digital transformation in the era of digital economy is not only an important path to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional energy enterprises and the development of new business forms in the field of energy, but also an inevitable choice for realizing the goal of "dual-carbon". This paper focuses on the green value of digital transformation, based on the panel data of China's A-share listed energy enterprises from 2017 to 2022, uses the super-efficient SBM-Malmquist index model to measure the green total factor energy efficiency of energy enterprises, and empirically examines the impact of digital transformation on the green total factor productivity and the path of its effect. The findings show that digital transformation enhances green total factor productivity through green technological innovation and management efficiency; heterogeneity analysis reveals that digital transformation enhances green total factor energy efficiency more significantly in new energy automobile industry, private enterprises and state-owned enterprises, and enterprises in East and South China. Designed to maximize the expected logarithmic rise of wealth and control the inherent bankruptcy risks, the extended model offers a stronger solution for investors in today's complex financial environment. This study shows that changing the Kelly Criterion to fit these real-world conditions will produce more accurate and optimal investing plans.
Chenyi Wang Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2866 Sat, 09 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Study on the Construction and Realization Path of Apple Eco-agricultural Industrial Chain https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2867
With the increasing attention of the world to the sustainable development of agriculture and the continuous improvement of people's awareness of environmental protection and food safety, the construction and development of ecological agriculture industry chain has become a research hotspot in the field of agriculture. This study takes the industrial chain of apple eco-agriculture as the object, analyzes the current situation of apple industrial chain on the basis of theoretical cognition of circular economy, food chain and industrial symbiosis, and constructs the internal ecological industrial chain of apple "plant-sales" and the ecological cycle industrial chain of apple "plant-processing". Finally, It is suggested that leading enterprises and e-commerce platforms should be used to strengthen the collectivization degree of farmers, build a green and circular agricultural industry chain, and improve the scientific and technological content of fruits.
Yifan Liu, Meifang Li Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2867 Sat, 09 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Research on the Impact of Green Credit on Corporate ESG Performance https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2868
Green credit, a policy innovation, guides enterprises to engage in environmental governance, promoting economic transformation and structural adjustment. Using Chinese A-share listed companies (2009-2019) and the 2012 Green Credit Guidelines as a quasi-natural experiment, this paper examines the policy's impact on corporate ESG performance via a continuous double-difference model. Green credit is positively associated with ESG performance, improving levels after robustness tests. It forces firms to enhance ESG performance by increasing financing constraints. Heterogeneity analysis shows a significant effect in financially developed, highly regulated, and low-marketization regions. The findings suggest improving the green credit policy system, considering regional and internal factors. They provide crucial implications for promoting green credit and sustainable development.
Hanting Yang, Ran Tian Copyright (c) 2024 https://madison-proceedings.com/index.php/aemr/article/view/2868 Sat, 09 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0800
