Abstract

In line with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and eight other departments’ Guiding Opinions on Advancing Smart Community Development, the smart community represents a novel concept in community management. By leveraging the Internet and Internet of Things (IoT), along with physical platforms such as artificial intelligence, community property management, and public rental housing, smart communities create a neuron-like information collection network platform, mapped across streets, neighborhoods, buildings, and households. This platform, centered on residents, provides secure, efficient, and convenient smart services, fulfills residents’ comprehensive living and developmental needs. This paper aims to explore the principles of “full sharing, multi-adaptation, and micro-services” in smart community construction. By incorporating key technologies like 5G’s eMMB, uRLLC, and mMTC, along with network slicing and video recognition, it proposes the development of a convenient and efficient smart community. Such an approach seeks to accelerate harmonious community building and foster social advancement.
