This paper aims to explore the relationship between social welfare policy and fertility rate in developed economies, and make an in-depth analysis based on the combination of empirical analysis and comparative research. The study selected several developed economies as samples, and made an empirical analysis by using multiple regression models through collecting and processing relevant data. The results show that social welfare policy has a significant positive impact on the fertility rate, that is, the perfection and implementation of social welfare policy can promote the fertility rate to a certain extent. This conclusion is of great significance for understanding the influence mechanism of social welfare policy on fertility rate. Based on the research results, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the adjustment of social welfare policies in developed economies and strategies to promote the balanced development of fertility rate. These suggestions not only provide an empirical basis for the government to formulate and adjust social welfare policies, but also provide a new perspective and method for the academic community to deeply study the relationship between social welfare policies and fertility rates.
