Factors affecting the helpfulness of free knowledge sharing in OHCs

Abstract

This study examines factors that affect the helpfulness of free knowledge sharing by collecting data from a large online health community in China. The results show that, ease of understanding, quantity of information, volume of hyperlink, patient’s engagement, physician’s online experience, offline expertise and hospital level will positively affect the helpfulness of free knowledge sharing.
