Abstract

As a special group in the university, minority preparatory students come from remote mountainous areas and have unique and diverse cultural and customary backgrounds. The psychological status of this group is more complex and the adaptability to the university environment is generally poor. In order to have an in-depth understanding of the mental health status of this group, the students of Preparatory Education College of Yunnan Minzu University were investigated and studied. SPSS 24 was used to analyze the data and conduct in-depth interviews, revealing various factors affecting the mental health of students and putting forward target countermeasures in order to provide empirical support for college preparatory mental health education and promote comprehensive development and mental health of the national preparatory students.
