Analysis of the Characteristics of Motorcycle Road Traffic Accidents in Chongqing

Abstract

Traffic accidents have become an important factor affecting human safety. Chongqing has a large number of motorcycles and corresponding traffic accidents. Analyzing and clarifying the characteristics of motorcycle traffic accidents in Chongqing has positive practical significance. This article selects a motorcycle case reported by an insurance company in 2021 and uses statistical software to analyze the characteristics of motorcycle road traffic accidents in Chongqing. Based on feature analysis, select a typical traffic accident, analyze the injury mechanism and protective measures, and study the prevention and treatment policies for road traffic accidents in Chongqing. The statistical results show that the proportion of motorcycle accidents in Chongqing is relatively high, and the number of accidents in suburban areas and counties is much greater than that in the main urban areas. At the same time, head impact on the windshield and ground is the main source of damage in motorcycle accidents.
